From our 50 acres of land in southwestern Ontario, Canada, HEEFS uses the power of social media, and the incredible power of our followers, to share the true nature of farmed animals with the world.

Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary can thank social media, and more specifically, the social media sensation, Esther the Wonder Pig, for making the Sanctuary a reality. It was by watching the growth and interest in Esther and her family that HEEFS was able to understand the power of social media and how it could be used to share and spread our message of compassion for farmed animals everywhere.
Get to know us
With almost 200,000 followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram , we are able to share information about farmed animals including the challenges they face, both physical and medical, due to the nature farming practices. We can also share the unique personality of each resident and showcase the special friendships that have formed over the years amongst the animals and with the caregivers and volunteers. Because most people will never have the chance to interact, face-to-face, with farmed animals, it is so important that we continue to use social media as a way to introduce farmed animals, as individuals, to the world.
